The Angel Bell Ornament & Potpourri Holiday Door Hanger
This year, we wanted to give you two craft ideas for the Holiday season.
Our first ornament "The Angel Bell Ornament" you can enjoy making with the entire family! These ornaments are not only very cute but extremely easy to make. So, before the holidays are here, why not take some time with your family and make an ornament that can be enjoyed year after year.
The second ornament "Potpourri Holiday Door Hanger" is an elegant accent for your home that will also make a great gift for someone special. This ornament can be hung on a door knob, Christmas tree etc...
Let Us Get Started:
Materials Needed:
1. Angel heads.... (1" diameter...we found a pack of 5 heads)
2. Gold bells.....(2" diameter bell with ring on top)
3. Angel wings gold
4. Tinsel sticks
5. Silver wired ribbon
6. Bonding glue
Let Us Create:
1. Just place the head on the top portion of the bell that has a small ring....just force the head in tight enough so it doesn't move.
2. Tie the silver wire ribbon around the neck of the doll and leave enough length at the end for a loop.
2. Glue wings on back of bell with the bonding glue. Let set for approximately 1 hour.
3. Make circle to fit the head of the angel with the tinsel stick...make sure it fits tight.
You are done!
Now, on to our second creation.
Let Us Get Started:
Materials Needed:
1. Nylon bag for potpourri that can be found at the craft or discount store. Make sure it has the ribbon closure on top.
2. Antique post card
3. Potpourri
3. Narrow lace
4. Bonding glue
Let Us Create:
1. Fill the bag with your potpourri. Make sure to stop before you get to the gathered area.
2. Scan your antique post card and cut out to fit the center of the bag.
3. Close the ribbon on the bag....where the gathered part is put your lace around the neck of the bag and sew a few stitches to the back.
You are done!
Within minutes you have made 2 wonderful crafts that you can share with your entire family!
Remember, every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings!
HAPPY HOLIDAY CREATING!
