You may want to include some of those home baked cookies for a wonderful addition when giving your tray.

Let us get started.

Materials Needed:

1) Wood frame with glass (8" x 10")

2) Paint (Antique Gold or Bronze)

3) Handles
(which can be purchased at your local hardware store.)

4) Color copy of your favorite holiday card

5) Drill

6) Felt dots

Let's Create:

1) Take your frame and glass apart.

2) Paint your frame and wipe with a paper towel to let the grain of the wood show.

3) Drill the holes on the sides of the frame with your drill..(the hardware should be included with your handles)...just attach the handles

4) Cut your color copy to fit in the frame.

5) Just insert the color copy

[Part 2]

The Button/Toile Reversible Heart Ornament

We decided to give you a special bonus craft for our holiday issue! "The Button/Toile Reversible Heart Ornament" will be a special addition to your tree this holiday season.

The Toile design is extremely popular right now, and it gives you a very antique look. So, we have created this ornament to be not only with a heirloom look, but very up-to-date at the same time!

Make sure to make several, and maybe incorporate a special button or two with sentimental value!

Let us get started.

Materials Needed:

1) Wooden heart ...(can be bought in a your local craft store) the size depends on you!

2) Toile material ....we picked a blue design

3) Buttons

4) Craft Glue

5) Scissors

6) Lace

7) Heart charm ...optional

8) Cord...for the hanger

Let's Create:

1) Trace the heart on the material...make sure to leave approximately 1/2" to overlap.

2) Glue material to heart...make sure to smooth the material with your fingers so the glue will be spread evenly. Overlap the material to the other side and smooth out a little section at a time.

3) Glue your lace around the heart on the reverse side of the material.

4) Start gluing your buttons to the blank side of the heart. Start from the outside in.

5) Before completing the top of the heart with the buttons glue your cord for a hanger.

6) Let dry for several hours.

You are done!

This could be a family project that will delight everyone!

Happy Creating!
