All Season Pin Frame
For our Spring/Summer issue we have created the "All Season Pin Frame". This special frame will let you change your pin with every season.
So many of us have wonderful antique pins, but never wear them as much as we like. Yet, we would like to display them to enjoy them even when we are not wearing them. This unique frame gives you the opportunity to enjoy your pin as a piece of art. Not only will you enjoy it, but other people will also have the opportunity to view your lovely jewelry.
The best part of all is that this creation is so easy. What a great gift this would make when presenting someone with a special pin!
Let Us Get Started:
Materials Needed:
1. Frame....we are using a 5"x7"
2. Small Easel....you may have to adjust the easel to fit the pin securely
3. Black Felt
4. Card board
5. 2 short straight pins
6. Pin of your choice
Let Us Create:
1. Take out the glass from the frame....usually just open the back of the frame and you can pop out the glass.
2. Cut a piece of cardboard to fit inside the frame.
3. Cut a piece of the black felt to fit the card board and use craft glue to secure the felt in place.
4. Center your easel and stick one or two straight pins on the top decoration of the easel and bend the end of the straight pin on the back of the card board to secure.
5. Just place your pin on the easel.
You are done!
This is an appropriate gift for almost any occasion. Once you give someone the "All Season Pin Frame" you can give them a pin for every occasion. This will be a gift that will be used and enjoyed year round.
