Tea Cup Sewing Kit

We have created a quick and easy sewing kit to make which you can use in many rooms of your home...even in the kitchen!

We all love tea cups and want to display them...but, why not also have a use for them besides drinking a cup of tea.

Within minutes you can create, from your favorite tea cup, a sewing kit that will become indispensable.

Let us get started.

Materials Needed:

1) Tea cup and saucer

2) Foam ball to fit the opening of your tea cup

3) Lace doily

4) Straight Pins

5) Needle and thread

6) Lace (Optional)

7) Serrated Knife

Material

Let's Create:

1) Cut your foam ball in half...make sure you measure your teacup opening to fit exact...

2) Take your doily and wrap around your halved foam ball and pin to the flat side.

3) Add a few decorative pins to your halved foam ball... that is your pin cushion.

4) Put a few needles and different color spools of thread in the tea cup.

5) Just place the foam ball on top of cup.

6) Optional lace can be glued to cover the tea cup and saucer where they meet...if you want to glue the saucer to the tea cup...that is only if you plan not to use the teacup again.

You are done!

This is a quick and easy project to do on a hot summer's day.

This "Tea Cup Sewing Kit" can be placed in a kitchen, guest room, bathroom...anywhere you need a quick stitch.

Happy Creating!
