The Valentine Heart Wreath Victorian Creations

The Valentine Heart Wreath

We have created a quick and easy project for you "The Valentine Heart Wreath."

At this time of the year, we are spending more time indoors and looking for something to keep us occupied, but also be quick and easy to create.
Get your children to help you with this project and make it into "Family Craft Time."
This wreath can put put on your door, in your bedroom or almost any room in your home.

Let us get started:

    Materials Needed:

    1) HEART WREATH (Size: 10" W x 12" H)

    2) RED SATIN RIBBON (Size: 7/8" Width)

    3) LACE (Ecru Gathered Size: 1-1/2" Width)

    4) RED ROSES (Silk or Paper)

    5) BRASS CHERUB

    6) LOW TEMP HOT GLUE GUN

    7) SCISSORS

    8) STRAIGHT PINS

Materials
Lace

1) Wrap your red ribbon around the wreath. Just apply a straight pin at the beginning and at the end of the ribbon.

2) Take your lace and using your low temp glue gun, on the back side of the wreath follow the shape of the heart and apply your hot glue as you go along.

3) Using your low temp hot glue gun apply your roses. We used a larger one at the bottom and 4 smaller ones on the side .(We also found using straight pins will hold the roses in place more securely along with the glue)

4) Glue your cherub to the top of the wreath with your low temp glue gun.

5) For a hanger, we used a stem from one of the roses, which is coated wire, and just made a semi circle and glued it to the back.

Your are done!!!

This creation will become a memorable experience for you and your children by sharing time making a wonderful project together.

Happy Creating!
