Accessories For Your Coffee Table

We have all seen in the decorating magazines tips on what to put on your coffee table...however, one problem, the coffee tables they are using are huge! So, we have found objects to use on your coffee table that will fit onto a "normal" size table.

Of course, we wanted to give you that vintage/Victorian feel but wanted to find accessories that would work with almost any decor. We feel we have accomplished that task.

We like to use toile as an accessory item, but not to overdue it. So, we have found a very cute tea set in black and white toile that would work well with many different color schemes. Also, the size is right. It fits great on a "regular" size coffee table.

Also, we found in red toile, an interesting shaped candle. This candle can be used over and over again, since you use it with a glass votive inside the actual candle. Remember, red brightens up your room. Red is also a great accent color.

Another unique piece we found was our cherub vase. This piece is brass colored with a black base and looks great with or without flowers. This will give you a little height on your table without being too tall. It also gives you the impression of a piece of art...so, it gives your table a little interest.

We also, added a doily just to break up the dark color of our coffee table. Today, there are so many "pretty" doilies available in the mass market for you to select.

Of course, the old standby a vase with fresh flowers which will always brighten a room.
