Small Accessories For Your Home Office

Many of us work at home and have a home office. It usually is very plain and we do not know how to give it a little Victorian flavor and yet be functional. We have a few ideas for you that mix new and old to be not only functionable but attractive.

We will give you a few ideas to incorporate "little touches" that will make your office more attractive, but the items will still be very useful.

We have found many wonderful ways to hold your paperwork instead of those plain plastic clips. Victorian "hand" clips have become widely available and can be bought in many types of stores and come in different sizes and styles. Many of these clips are pictured for you to peruse.

Bookends are another wonderful way to hold your books, folders papers etc... on your desk. We have found many available with little Victorian touches to add that extra charm to that everyday desk.

Staples

Add some vintage/antique accessories....we have found a great vintage stapler that works perfectly and added interest to that same old desk tool we used for years.

Inkwells are a nice little accent to your desk. You can either buy an antique piece or a reproduction. You can use your inkwell pot to store paper clips, pins and in the tray you can place your pens and pencils.

Memo holders are great. There are many available with vintage style fabrics on them for you to coordinate with your office. Don't forget your "Victorian Shoe Holder" we created in our previous issue which is very unique and serves and important purpose.
