Victorian Decorating Tip
Decorating your Christmas Packages
This month, in our Creation Section, we have shown you how to create your own wrapping
paper. We want to, now, show you how to decorate your packages to look their best.
I found one of the simplest and elegant decorations you can do is just take wire edged
ribbon and tie a simple bow and see the results.
Why not use the scrap ornament from
Creations October issue, and place it on your package
and use it as the gift tag. This is 2 gifts in one, they can hang the scrap ornament on the
Christmas tree.

The Christmas bags that are sold can be costly, just use a plain paper lunch bag and,
stamp it, per our Creations Section,
and tie a bow around it for a special package.
For packing your homemade cookies, people enjoy receiving, put your cookies on
a Christmas porcelain or glass plate, so your recepiant can reuse the plate again.
This would be a wonderful hostess gift.
Also, for homemade candy, buy an inexpensive canister or jar and fill it up and watch
the candy disappear. Again, this canister can be reused and enjoyed for many Holidays.
Most of the gifts we give our children are oversized. Why not use a green garbage bag
and tie ribbons on it for a strong and recyclable package.
If you have a small package, like a piece of jewlery, why not use a pretty lace napkin
to wrap it and tie with a lace bow.
Remember, you are only limited by your imagination, so get wrapping!
Happy Wrapping!
