Collecting And Displaying Sentimental Greeting Cards
Over the years you have probably saved numerous greetings cards you received from loved ones.
However these cards, you collected, are probably stored in a box of some sort and opened every few years just to rekindle many happy memories.
Some, of these cards, could be either true vintage pieces or reproductions. Maybe some of your cards have wonderful pictures on them and you would like to display them, but don't know how.
We have found a few interesting and simple ways for you to display your collection and always be remembered of those happy times at a glance.
First, if you want to keep your greeting card in tact, there are many unique frames on the market and that maybe you just didn't realize a card could be just the thing to finish the frame.
Try to match the colors used in the card with the frame.
We have pictured a frame with a little girl that looks great in a child's bedroom.
As you can see, we match the coloring of the card with the frame.
We also, decided to use an antique looking frame to match with the card.
Another way to frame a part of your card is by using just a part of the card in a frame.
Such as we have pictured a mother and child card.
All we did was cut out the background and used the main subject of the card.
We also enhanced the card by matching the frame and using a material background to which we attached the card.
Don't forget, you can also frame your holiday cards to match with your holiday decorations.
So, one frame can be used all year to incorporate your cards with your holiday themes.
Many greeting cards are not only beautiful to look at, but bring back such special memories to enjoy.
So, why not show off your special and unique collection of your very own greeting cards!
Happy Collecting!
